Welcome to the CONFidence CTF 2019 Teaser by p4


When: Sat, 16 March 2019, 11:00 UTC - Sun, 17 March 2019, 11:00 UTC (24 hours)
Format: online teaser, jeopardy, team-based (no team size limit)
Rules:
  • scoring is dynamic - challenges are worth less points more solves they have, the formula is based on the one from 35C3 CTF
  • don't attack CTF infrastructure; please report any platform vulnerabilities you find
  • don't share flags
  • don't use vulnerability scanners or dirbusters, don't bruteforce over network - it won't help
  • you can ask questions regarding challenges on the IRC channel by writing private messages to voiced team members
Prizes: TOP 1 - TOP 3:
each team gets 4 conference passes for CONFidence 2019 conference

We have updated the task to include a proof-of-work challenge due to high load. The POW solver is included in the updated challenge files, please redownload.

Hint: You actually need to play a game for a few minutes in order to solve this task. Also note that NPCs can be talked with by saying "hi" or "hello".

Scoreboard should now accept all possible flags within the flag format (p4{[0-9a-z]+}) for this task.

If the program says you have the correct flag, but it isn't accepted, contact Shalom[p4] on the IRC channel.

The flag in Oldschool challenge should match p4{[0-9a-z]+}.
